On the 5th January 2008 I unfortunately damaged my car whilst driving in the snow and my insurance company informed me that Clarkes would be the approved repairer. My car is a Volvo S60R, a performance car, and one which is quite rare and valued highly by myself. I was therefore a little anxious with reference to the mechanical repairs that had to be carried out by a non-Volvo specialist.
I collected my vehicle from repair on the 30th January 2008. After driving the car for a few hours any doubt of the quality of repair and workmanship had totally dissipated. The car drives as it did prior to repair. There are no rattles, knocks or anything else I was dreading. The engine bay is as it was unmarked and clean, something which even Volvo themselves can’t seem to master after having serviced it!
I would like you to pass on my thanks and gratitude to the mechanic who carried out the repair. It is not often in this day and age that people demonstrate their clear technical ability to such a high standard, and regard for other people’s property.
Furthermore in all contact I have had with the administration staff they have always been polite, and courteous. Both Suzanne and Laura, although clearly very busy have always been pleasant, and happy to deal with my queries. Malcolm also did an excellent job of keeping me informed of the progress of the repair, as parts became available and work was carried out.
It is becoming quite a rarity to experience good customer service and satisfaction, and even rarer that this is acknowledged.
I am extremely pleased with the service I have received from Clarkes, and I will be sure to pass on my high regard for your service to not only my insurance company, but to my associates also.

I do not (thankfully) have a great deal of experience with Accident Repair Centres however I am writing to thank you and your team for an outstanding experience recently. I had an accident last year (someone ran into the back of my car), and i was extremely impressed with Clarke's staff for the way everything was handled:
Clarke's fixed the damage way faster than expected, and were fantastic & flexible in arranging the times/dates for pick-ups and drop-offs. I work very silly long hours during most of the week, so your flexibility was much appreciated. Also, that was the first accident i'd ever had, so i was quite unsure of the procedures and the person on the phone was really great in reassuring me and sorting everything out. When i dropped my car off, you guys already had all the details & paperwork ready, and i was in & out in no time!
And this year, one of my colleagues reversed back and scraped the paint off my car, and Chris went out of his way to come out on a Sunday to get an estimate for the damage.
Excellent service like that is rare these days, so many thanks for the superb job you guys did last year and again this year... I've told all my patients about Clarke's!
